Grateful Hearts 2/16/14

We have so many blessings to be grateful for. Among our most treasured blessings are the love and faith of familiy and friends. In the darkest uncertain hours and throughout the long arduous  stretches, our family and friends have surrounded Forrest with love and never let us lose hope.  Their thoughtfulness and generosity brightens Forrest's hardest days and helps us focus beyond today's troubles to envision endless joyful possibilities.

My amazing sisters, Tricia & Lobie, never fail to lift my spirits with their enthusiasm and encouragement.

A surprise visit from Hill teacher, Debbie Sharples, this week brought fond memories to Forrest and joy and laughter to BrightWood.

With a grateful heart for family & friends,
Mum

  1. Forrest,
How fun to have Mrs Sharples stop by. I know you always enjoy seeing her.
You have the sweetest most supportive family and wonderful friends. You truly are a blessed young man as well as being a blessing to others.
I know your challenges seem never ending, but the love, support and faith of your family and all of your friends (and fans) is enduring. That love along with your champion spirit will overcome and prevail. I believe in you Forrest! You are constantly in my heart and prayers.
Stay strong! I miss you and hope to visit when the weather clears up a bit.
    Blessings and love,
    Nurse Karen and family

  3. It's wonderful to hear if your steady progress, Forrest. I would really like to hear one of your presentations of your story. I hope I can do that in the coming year. I'm sure it is inspirational, especially to the high school kids.

Is the weather nice enough that you and Toliver can take a walk now and then? I'm sure he loves to frolic in your woods.

    Keep up the good work.
    Love, Diane & Jay

    Hi Forest,
We met at the CCI graduation. I took your photos at the reception and Phil took the video of the graduation. We were so impressed with you and Toliver. I am so glad to hear that he is helping you recover and hope that your healing is quick and uneventful. Give Toliver a big kiss for us!
