Picture of the Day 9/20

In spite of continued nausea and occasional trembling these last few days, Forrest's neurosurgeon, Dr. Armonda, came by today and is really happy with his overall progress. Here is Forrest giving him a fist bump.

  8. A picture is worth a thousand words and this one of Forrest sitting in a chair, locked onto the face of his wonderful doctor is remarkable.

Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that Charlotte and I were visiting and Rae was only raising and lowering Forrest's bed by degrees?

I pray that our perception of Forrest's progress is accurate and reassuring to all of you.

I pray that Forrest's nausea subsides and that the trembling is temporary.

I pray that he continues on a strengthening path of full recovery of speech and movement and understanding.

I pray that my hair one day grows as fast and thick as Forrest's does. :)

    Amen

We love you all. Race on this Saturday and toward full recovery.

    Shannon
