BrightWood Homecoming !

We think the smiles on Forest's and Toliver's faces say it all!

Thank you for keeping the faith,

Team Forrest

  1. Gosh Forrest it is so good to see you are home! I heard you went in for surgery. I haven't been on the blog in awhile (transitioning to a new job). I have been praying for you though and believing for an amazing outcome.
I see you still have that great attitude and winning smile. And your wonderful family and friends are still as devoted as ever. Then there is that adorable Toliver, he sure does love you.
I am glad to see nurse Dawn and Alpha are there for you too.
I hope to be able to come see you soon. I sure could use a big hug. We missed out on our peach picking date with Jake and Cody. Maybe we can go apple picking instead.
Keep up the great work and you'll be back to all your fun activities soon.
    Tell everyone I said hello.
    Blessings and love,
    Nurse Karen

  2. There is no place like home!! We are so glad Team 44 has returned to Brightwood. Let the healing begin. We all know home is where Forrest heals the best.

Hope to see team 44 soon.

  4. Welcome home...healing always happens more quickly when in your own bed. with your own pillow, friends and family around you and pops good cooking.....looking awesome!!

  5. Best news of the day! With love and prayers, the Pennington family :-)

  6. Fantastic news! Only Team 44 could have wrapped that up so quickly!
Forrest, another triumph! You must be on Cloud 9 to be back in your man cave!

  7. Forrest, You appear to have been in such a big hurry to escape you got only your tennis shoes! Kept your hospital gown! No time for street clothes. You must not mind the hole in back as much as I do. So glad to see your home.
