Update from Toliver

Hi friends, Toliver here.  My person, Forrest had a really good day today.
He had some special visitors and video chats.

FaceTime with Austin!  I miss seeing puppy Martin, but I hope that
he is doing good in his training with CCI.

Megan, Abby and Tina drove up just to visit us today.  I don't know who was more excited to see them, me or Forrest!  They helped me take Forrest for a walk and then we all had lunch together.

We had nice FaceTime with Scott and his family.  Scott is a courageous cancer warrior and it was
fun for Forrest and Scott to be able to encourage each other.  And....I got to meet a cute girl - Scott's dog Carrie!  I'm a little smitten.

Dr. Kumar says that Forrest has never looked or sounded better!  I think his improved noggin' looks pretty awesome.  Forrest's new Hickman IV port was causing him a little bit of pain today and the drain in his head is really bothering him.  But....great news - the drains are supposed to come out in the morning and we should be BrightWood bound TOMORROW afternoon!!!!
I can't wait to be home!

Thank you for all of the prayers and messages you send to my boy Forrest.  Looking forward to seeing you all soon in Middleburg!

Love,
Toliver

I got extra snuggles for writing the blog  :)

  3. Great post, Tollie, and great photo, especially of you typing. I'm happy your person, Forrest the Great is doing so well, and will be home soon--you 2 have a lot of exciting adventures ahead of you. I don't do anything but sit around and look pretty all day, but my people like me anyway. Maybe we can meet for treats some day?
