Prayer Warriors Unite!

The waiting and unknowns of Forrest's situation are weighing down Team 44 a bit tonight, so we are going to keep this update short.  The doctors have determined that Forrest's new valve has rotated 180 degrees and it cannot be reprogrammed in the position that it is in.  They have decided to go back in surgically tomorrow afternoon to replace it.  The new valve will immediately be programmed it to a virtual "off" and we hope that we will see a change within the next day or two.  If this new valve does not fix the problem, then it is possible that Forrest has a CSF leak somewhere, which is a much bigger deal. Through all of these unknowns, Forrest is maintaining his characteristic charm and good humor.  This afternoon would have been his regular PT time with Del, which Forrest always looks forward to.  Since they couldn't be together in person, Del visited via FaceTime and they worked out together for 45 minutes, Del at Middleburg Physical Therapy and Forrest in his hospital bed, yet side-by-side in spirit!  Even remotely, Del empowers and motivates Forrest to give his best.

Your prayers, support and good thoughts continue to sustain us and we are so thankful.  Your messages and posts are read multiple times by Forrest (and team!) and we are grateful for the smiles they bring.

Blessed to be part of Team 44,
Tami
