Surgery Update - 9:20pm

Thanks for all the love, prayers, and support today! It was a long surgery, but Forrest is hanging in there and recovering in ICU. The surgery team was pleased with how the procedure went and with Forrest's strength. We already got a thumbs up, toe wiggle, shoulder shrug, shaka sign, fist bump, and ALMOST a smile. Dawn is keeping an eye on him in ICU tonight while he rests up. It's still early in the recovery but things are looking up. Hopefully the lights, beeps, and alarms will slow down for a few hours tonight so he can get some zzzzz's in.

Thanks for the comments too! We've been reading some to him and will read all of them to him tomorrow.
